LDCX 2017 continues in our tradition of bring together institutions and technologists with common needs and concerns to identify and act upon opportunities for collaboration at the intersection of cultural heritage and technology. We hope to leverage this year’s unconference not only in develop and further shared products and solutions, but also as a space to identify areas for collaboration on the bleeding edge.
High-level themes for this year’s unconference include discovery and delivery of archives; the International Image Interoperability Framework and related software development; linked data, data modeling, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing; Hydra/Blacklight code convergence; web archiving; and APIs, harvesting, and synchronization. Of course, as an unconference, participants bring their own expertise and topics--all are a fit!
